Paper Sculpture of Deep Jungle
An immersive installation exploring the dense, layered nature of urban environments, Jungle transforms a compact space into a microcosm of tangled, organic growth. The piece invites viewers to step into a contained world where nature and design converge.
Created by a group of three, with me designing and cutting the papers for SNU(Seoul National University) Space exhibition. We built small-scale mockups, sketched and cut the paper, and installed the structure using rods. Located at the center of the school, it attracted significant attention.
Through this experience, I developed a strong affinity for paper as a medium and realized that crafting it suited and intrigued me. I also expanded my knowledge about the material, including the texture, brand, and colors of paper.
